Safety first
Where balls are flying through the air at high speeds, rules are necessary to ensure a certain level of safety. Golf etiquette governs behavior on the golf course and must be observed by every player.
- Follow the course rules
- If you are teeing off and your ball could hit other golfers, shout “Fore!” loudly.
- Always play the ball as it lies.
- Every shot counts
- Replace divots on the fairways (and throughout the course) and tamp them down.
- Always remember that you must let a faster group behind you play through. In the interest of everyone, play without delay.
